I can't thank you enough for the wonderful job that you did with our wedding pictures. Words aren't enough to express my gratitude to you. From the moment we met you until the final snapshot at our reception, you were such a huge pleasure to work with. You were so patient in dealing with my crazy family and I loved that you seemed so passionate when taking the pictures! Not to mention that our pictures couldn't have possibly come out any more perfect! You took all the traditional photos that we requested and you also captured so many precious moments throughout the day - everytime we look through our photos they bring back so many special memories! We absolutely love them, and we will definitely cherish them for many years to come.

We were absolutely thrilled when we saw the proofs of our wedding. Carmen, you captured all the joy, tenderness and fun of our special day, and topped it off with a touch of glamour. Carmen was probably the 4th or 5th photographer we interviewed about working at our wedding, and so by the time we sat down with her, I knew very clearly what I wanted out of the arrangement. Carmen fit the bill perfectly: her rate for 8 hours fit our budget, she included 4x6 and 5x5 proofs, and she gave us our negatives after 6 months for no additional charge.
She was polite, easy to work with, and respectful of our guests. She used both black and white and color film at our request, and we were very pleased with the results!
Carmen was organized, focused, and knew how to set her professional boundaries in a diplomatic, polite manner that respected our feelings and that of our guests. Some photographers that we interviewed were rather bossy, and wanted to tell us the "correct" way to photograph a wedding. But Carmen listened to what we wanted... as someone who is very assertive and picky herself, I have to say that Carmen really seemed to understand what we wanted and wasn't afraid to ask questions to clarify points!
I would recommend Carmen Alvarez as the best choice to anyone. She was so nice to work with, honest and reliable (two big pluses when it comes to planning a wedding!), and I felt so comfortable the day of the wedding with her as our photographer!
