Old St. Hilary’s Church Wedding Photography | Tiburon, CA | Nicole & Matt

I thought starting off with this photo would say a lot more than I possibly could in words about Matt & Nicole’s wedding… A gorgeous day, a beautiful couple, a historic Tiburon landmark for the church ceremony – really picture perfect!  I’m always surprised that a spot that feels so remote and out of a different century exists in the middle of Marin, and I love being up there.  And then to top it off we got to enjoy the second half of the day at Servino Ristorante, right on the water with panoramic views of San Francisco across the bay.  Thanks so much to all involved:

Getting ready:  The Lodge at Tiburon

The Ceremony:  Old St. Hilary’s

The Reception:  Servino Ristorante

Flowers:  Mill Valley Flowers

Cake:  Branching Out Cakes

I really enjoyed photographing these guys’ first reveal – first because the landscape with Old St. Hilary’s church is so visually stunning, but also because Matt was so fun to pose!  He’s been in very dedicated military service, so when I told him to face in one direction and stay put until he felt Nicole reach him, he got into position instantly and I knew he wasn’t budging until further notice! :-)

Emily + Ken | San Francisco Wedding | Casa de la Vista, Treasure Island, CA

Considering the amount of rain that is coming down as I post these photos from Emily & Ken’s special day, I am extra glad that we got the sunny day we did for this Treasure Island wedding… Especially because the San Francisco skyline was so important to the two of them, and we managed to get some shots with it!  One of my favorite things about their wedding was Emily’s father happens to be a pastor, and so was the officiant for the wedding.  Thank God for auto-focus, ’cause watching him get close to tears while marrying his own daughter so made me tear up!  I also really loved how well they pulled off a fuschia, black & white theme at the reception, totally brought to life by many sources of talent, including those of Trang Vo of  Vo Floral Design, Samar Hattar of Blissful Events, and Emily herself who handmade spoons for the candy bar, which I hope she starts selling soon!  Enjoy…

Emily’s dad was so beautiful to watch during the ceremony as he would look up at his daughter and about-to-be-husband…
